The most valued in GALP
The Sea Department (Consellería do Mar) has finally released the resolution with the final score of the projects presented in the first call of the Local Action Groups in the Fisheries Sector (GALP in Spanish). For the group in the Pontevedra Estuary, the highest rated initiatives are those from the company Rosa de los Vientos (from Bueu and based in the Port of Marín) and the Fishing Guild of Bueu.
Mariscos Malliño (Sanxenxo), the Council of Pontevedra for a campaign to enhance the value of its market square, a company in the Port of Marín and a cooperation project between the GALPs of Vigo, Pontevedra and Arousa to conduct a study on the socio-economic importance of fishing in the area of the Illas Atlánticas National Park, among others, will also receive funding.
